Their Vision

An institution recognised as a regional/international example of promoting large-scale use of renewable energy sustainably and a national focal point for resource mobilisation.

Alternative energy systems include solar energy, hydro energy, wind energy, bio energy and geothermal energy. All f these are good alternatives to the traditional coal generated energy. Energy like solar and wind and bio can be used in remote areas where there is no infrastructure to bring electricity do peoples homes. Small solar collectors and wind turbines can be set up around the home, this will allow enough energy to be produced. Builders and home design professionals are now very aware of the different options for producing power for the home. Alot of these systems are now being included in homes being built. They do not require staff to run and can be maintained by people at home.

Unfortunately in countries around the world like Australia the current prime minister Kevin Rudd has a very poor record when it comes to  alternative energy and helping the environment. Local people must petition ther governement to do all they can when it comes to  promoting and developing alternative energy systems.
